## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT APPROX 1300 LOCAL TIME ON 03/08/2014, THE PILOT OF N26KJ WAS RECEIVING VFR ADVISORIES FROM PHL'S SOUTH DEPARTURE SECTOR AND REPORTED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS HAVING A FUEL PRESSURE PROBLEM AND HE WANTED TO LAND AT THE NEAREST AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS VECTORED TO THE CLOSEST AIRPORT, BUT THE AIRCRAFT COULD NOT MAKE THE AIRPORT. THE PILOT STATED HE WAS LANDING IN A FIELD. THE PILOT RELAYED THROUGH AN AIRCRAFT FLYING OVERHEAD THAT HE WAS ON THE GROUND, BUT PHL COULD NOT CONFIRM.

AFTER AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING, THE PILOT EXAMINED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND THE RIGHT WING FUEL TANK NEARLY EMPTY AND THE LEFT WING FUEL TANK WITH APPROX. 15 GALLONS OF FUEL. SUBSEQUENT INSPECTION OF THE FUEL LINE FROM THE LEFT FUEL TANK REVEALED A SMALL KINK IN THE FUEL LINE.

INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING-THIS REPORT WILL BE AMENDED WHEN MORE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
