## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 03/16/2014 PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ LANDED GEAR UP IN A MOONEY MODEL 020 AT OPF RNW 12, THERE WERE 2 PASSENGERS ON BOARD , THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED.

THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE CONSISTENT WITH A GEAR UP LANDING. THE PILOT STATED HE SELECTED GEAR DOWN BUT THAT THE GEAR DID NOT DEPLOY, HE SAID HE FELT THE GEAR GIVE OUT FROM UNDER HIM AS HE TOUCHED DOWN AND AT THAT TIME HE INFORMED THE TOWER THAT THIS WAS A GEAR UP LANDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
