## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS PRACTICING TOUCH AND GO'S IN THE AIRCRAFT, WHICH WAS RENTED. DURING THE LANDING SEQUENCE, THE PILOT WAS DISTRACTED BY ATC AND TRAFFIC AROUND TTN AND FAILED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR.

A STATEMENT FROM THE PILOT INDICATED THAT HE HAD BEEN DISTRACTED BY A AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF TRAFFIC IN THE AREA ALONG WITH A BUZZING NOISE WHEN HE REDUCED THE MANIFOLD PRESSURE WHICH ALSO CASUED THE GEAR WARNING ALARM TO SOUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
