## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT AND AIRCRAFT WERE ON A FERRY PERMIT. THE MAINTENANCE SITUATION ON THE AIRCRAFT REQUIRED THE FLIGHT BE CONDUCTED WITH THE GEAR DOWN. WASHINGTON CENTER ADVISED EXTENSIVE VECTORS PRIOR TO REACHING THE DESTINATION OF KECG. THE PILOT REQUESTED VECTORS TO THE NEAREST AIRPORT, WHICH HAPPENED TO BE KEDE, DUE TO A LOW FUEL SITUATION.

THE PILOT ELECTED A STRAIGHT IN APPROACH TO RUNWAY 01 AT KEDE DUE TO LOW FUEL, WHICH WAS LATER DETERMINED TO BE 8 GALLONS PER SIDE AFTER LANDING. THE PILOT REPORTED A SURGING OF ENGINES, LIKELY DUE TO LOW FUEL. THE PILOT ELECTED TO LAND RUNWAY 01 WITH WINDS AT 120 DEGREES AND GUSTS UP TO 18 KNOTS, INSTEAD OF FLYING A PATTERN TO RUNWAY 19, DUE TO THE FUEL SITUATION.

THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SHORT OF RUNWAY 01 ON THE OVER-RUN FOR RUNWAY 19, WHICH IS PRIOR TO THE THRESHOLD FOR RUNWAY 01.

AFTER TOUCH DOWN THE AIRCRAFT WENT TO THE RIGHT, OFF OF THE RUNWAY, AND BECAME STUCK IN THE MUD ON A HEADING OF APPROXIMATELY 120 DEGREES.

THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO POWER THE AIRCRAFT ONTO THE TAXIWAY BUT WAS UNABLE AND SHUT DOWN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
