## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER LANDING AT RAL AIRPORT THE PILOT WAS TAXIING TO RETURN TO THE RUNWAY WHEN THE RIGHT BRAKE AUTHORITY WAS LOST. BRAKE STEERING IS REQUIRED FOR TAXIING THIS AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT STOPPED ON THE TAXIWAY AND UPON EXITING THE AIRCRAFT DISCOVERED THE RIGHT TIRE AREA WAS ON FIRE. THE RAL FIRE CREW EXTINGUISHED THE FLAMES. THE AIRCRAFT HAD MINOR DAMAGE. PILOT WAS UNINJURED. NO PASSENGERS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
