## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT WAS TAXIING OUT, IN LIGHT WINDS. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE PLANE VEERED TO THE LEFT AND HE TRIED TO CORRECT WITH THE BRAKE. THE PLANE WENT OFF THE TAXIWAY, WHICH SPUN THE PLANE AROUND AND CAUSING THE NOSEWHEEL TO HIT THE EDGE OF THE TAXIWAY, CAUSING THE NOSE GEAR TO FAIL AND PROP STRIKE

WHILE THE PLANE WAS BEING TOWED BACK TO THE HANGAR, THE BRAKES WERE TESTED AND NO PROBLEM WERE FOUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
