## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 4, 2014 I WAS THE IIC FOR THE TRAVIS AFB AIRSHOW NAMED THUNDER OVER SOLANO.

I OBSERVED MR. EDDIE ANDREINI FLYING A STERMAN (BOEING E75) N68828 AS A PERFORMER DURING THE AIR SHOW. PART OF MR. ANDREINI PERFORMANCE IS TO MAKE AN INVERTED PASS OVER THE RUNWAY AND CUT A RIBBON WITH THE AIRCRAFT. DURING HIS INVERTED PASS MR. ANDRIENI AIRCRAFT DESCENDED TO THE RUNWAY AND CRASHED. THE AIRCRAFT SLID INVERTED ON RUNWAY 21R AT TRAVIS. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. WHEN THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST I COULD SEE A FIRE THAT APPEARED TO BE BURNING AROUND THE ENGINE COWLING. SHORTLY THEREAFTER THE AIRCRAFT WAS CONSUMED BY FIRE.
