## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

1. PILOT WAS AT 80 KNOTS INDICATED AND FELT A SLIGHT VIBRATION AS THE NOSE GEAR STARTED TO CLEAR THE RUNWAY, AT WHICH TIME THE VIBRATION TURNED INTO A COMPLETE BLOWOUT OF THE NOSE GEAR TIRE OVER APPROXIMATELY A THREE (3) SECONDS TIMEFRAME. THE NOSE ATTITUDE BEGAN TO FALL; THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED INTO THE NOSE GEAR WELL, WHICH THE PILOT STATES TURNED INTO A PROP STRIKE.

2. PILOT STATES HE CUT THE THROTTLE WITHIN "ONE SECOND" OF THE VIBRATION BEGINNING, SLID A LONG WAYS BEFORE COMING TO REST ON THE ASPHALT OF RUNWAY 12R, JUST LEFT OF CENTER-LINE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
