THE STUDENT PILOT ATTEMPTED A TAKEOFF WITH THE FLAPS STILL IN THE LANDING POSITION.  HE LOST CONTROL AND THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY TO THE LEFT AND STRUCK A DITCH.
