## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

A REVIEW OF INFORMATION AT HAND PROVIDES:

(1) THAT JUMP APPEARED NORMAL UNTIL THE DEPLOYMENT SEQUENCE OF MAIN CANOPY.

(2) THAT SUSPENSION LINES WERE TWISTED WHEN MAIN CANOPY DEPLOYED.

(3) THAT BEFORE TWISTED LINE PROBLEM COULD BE RESOLVED; RESERVE PARACHUTE SYSTEM ATTEMPTED TO DEPLOY AND BECAME ENTANGLED IN MAIN PARACHUTE LINES.

(4) THAT PARACHUTE SYSTEM WAS THEN UNCONTROLLABLE AND WAS NOT ARRESTING THE DESCENT SUFFICIENTLY ON GROUND IMPACT.

PARACHUTE SYSTEM:

HARNESS/CONTAINER - MIRAGE SYSTEMS G3.

MAIN CANOPY - PERFORMANCE DESIGNS SPECTRE.

RESERVE CANOPY - PERFORMANCE DESIGNS PD RESERVE.

AAD - AIRTEC CYPRES

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
