## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 5/28/2014, AT 18:22 LOCAL TIME, A COMMERCIAL PILOT ON FIRST DAY OF EMPLOYMENT FLYING SKYDIVERS, AFTER THE TENTH JUMP OF THE DAY, PUT THE CE-206 AIRCRAFT INTO A SLIP AT 12.000 FEET TO BRING THE AIRCRAFT DOWN QUICKLY. THE AIRCRAFT ENGINE QUIT RUNNING. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT HE SELECTED THE OTHER TANK BUT DID NOT PUT THE BOOST PUMP ON HIGH. THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT SAFELY.

THE CE-206 AIRCRAFT FLIGHT MANUAL HAS A NOTE CONCERNING UNCOORDINATED FLIGHT SUCH AS SLIPS CAUSING FUEL STOPPAGE AND THERE IS A PLACARD ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL REQUIRING THE FUEL PUMP TO BE ON ?HI? WHEN SWITCHING FUEL TANKS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
