## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE NON-CERTIFICATED PILOT DEPARTED IN A MODIFIED QUICKSILVER AIRCRAFT THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN AIR WORTHINESS CERTIFICATE OR CURRENT REGISTRATION.

THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD NOT FLOWN IN A YEAR AND PREVIOUS TO THAT ONE FLIGHT NEITHER HE NOR THE AIRCRAFT HAD FLOWN IN SEVERAL YEARS.

THE AIRCRAFT LOST POWER WHEN THE FUEL TRANSFER LINE BETWEEN THE LEFT AND RIGHT FUEL CELL BECAME CLOGGED WITH THE SEALANT FROM THE FUEL TANK CAUSING FUEL STARVATION.

THE PILOT ELECTED TO LAND IN A COTTON FIELD AND THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE DURING THE LANDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
