## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PIC WAS CONDUCTING NUMEROUS FLIGHTS ON JUNE 1, 2014. THE PIC NEGLECTED TO CHANGE THE FUEL SELECTOR TO THE FULLEST TANK LEADING TO FUEL DEPLETION IN THE FUEL TANK IN USE. THE AIRCRAFT LOST POWER AND THE PIC WAS ABLE TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT ON THE RUNWAY BUT WAS UNABLE TO STOP ON THE REMAINING RUNWAY AND CAME TO A REST ABOUT 30 FEET PAST THE RUNWAY END IN A WHEAT FIELD RESULTING IN MINOR DAMAGE TO A GEAR DOOR ON THE MAIN LANDING GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
