## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER FIVE LEGS, 9.3 HOURS OF FLYING ON JUNE 8, 2014, THE PILOT IN COMMAND, SURROUNDED BY THUNDERSTORMS AND LOW ON FUEL, LANDED AT 96FL, A TURF RUNWAY IN THE RAIN AND RAN OFF THE END OF RUNWAY 36. THE PILOT IN COMMAND CLAIMS THAT THE ORIGINAL HEADWIND SHEARED INTO A TAILWIND IN THE LANDING FLARE MAKING STOPPING ON THE RUNWAY AREA IMPOSSIBLE. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST IN A PARTIALLY WOODED AREA.

THE AIRCRAFT SUFFERED MINOR DAMAGE. THE PILOT IN COMMAND AND HIS 14 YEAR OLD GRANDSON WERE NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
