## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS PRACTICING A SHORT FIELD APPROACH ON RUNWAY 24 AT HYANNIS.

HE HAD SLOWED THE PLANE TO 74 KNOTS WITH

FULL FLAPS. JUST SHORT OF THE THRESHOLD HE PULLED THE POWER BACK TO LET AIRCRAFT SETTLE. JUST AT THE THRESHOLD OR OVER IT HE NOTICED A SLIGHT ?BUMP?. HE TURNED OFF TAXIWAY BRAVO TO THE EAST RAMP AND TAXIED TO THE RAMP. WHILE PUTTING THE AIRCRAFT AWAY HE NOTICED THE FRONT OF FIBERGLASS MAIN WHEEL FAIRINGS (LEFT AND RIGHT) HAD BEEN DAMAGED (NO NOSE WHEEL OR STRUT DAMAGE). THE PILOT STATED THE PLANE HAD TAXIED WELL WITHOUT VIBRATION OR YAW. HE CALLED HYANNIS OPS TO REPORT THIS. THEY INSPECTED THE THRESHOLD FOR RUNWAY 24 AND REPORTED THAT TWO THRESHOLD LIGHTS HAD BEEN DAMAGED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
