## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE ON AN INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT WITH A STUDENT PILOT, THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED ON LANDING. FULL POWER WAS ADDED BY THE INSTRUCTOR AND ACCORDING TO THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR THE AIRPLANE WAS PITCHED TOO HIGH AND AIRSPEED DROPPED TOO LOW. THE AIRCRAFT THEN BOUNCED ON THE RUNWAY AND TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED. THE AIRCRAFT SLID OFF THE RUNWAY TO THE LEFT AND ENCOUNTERED PROP STRIKE. AIRCRAFT DAMAGE WAS EVALUATED BY CIRRUS AIRCRAFT FACTORY PERSONNEL. PHOTOS AND EVALUATION RESULTS WAS FORWARDED TO FSDO IIC FOR DETERMINATION THAT THIS IS AN INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
