## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING CRUISE FLIGHT LEVEL AT FL400 THE PILOTS RECEIVED A DOOR OPEN LIGHT INDICATION IN THE COCKPIT. THE CABIN CREW SIMULTANEOUSLY HEARD A LOUD POP AND HISSING NOISE. THE L2(LEFT REAR) DOOR EMERGENCY EVACUATION SLIDE INFLATED. CABIN CREW NOTIFIED THE CAPTAIN THAT THE SLIDE HAD INFLATED BUT THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE THAT THE DOOR WAS COMPROMISED AS THERE WAS NO LOSS OF CABIN PRESSURE. CAPTAIN ELECTED TO DIVERT TO WICHITA KS (ICT) AIRPORT LANDING WITHOUT INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
