## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT PILOT WAS MAKING A FULL STOP LANDING AFTER A SERIES OF TOUCH AND GOES. ATCT STATED THAT AIRCRAFT DRIFTED TO THE LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY INTO THE INFIELD AREA AND CONTACTED A RUNWAY SIGN. THE LOWER COWLING SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE IN THE FORM OF A DENT THAT WAS EASILY REPAIRED BY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.

SECTION 31 A, WILL NOT ACCEPT STUDENT CERTIFICATE NUMBERS. THE CERTIFCIATE NUMBER FOR THIS STUDENT IS:^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^,

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
