## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT WAS OPERATING FROM A PRIVATE LANDING STRIP. CONDTIONS WERE VMC AND THE STRIP WAS DRY. DURING THE TAKEOFF ROLL, PILOT HIT A SMALL BURM 2/3RDS DOWN THE LENGTH OF THE STRIP. THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED IN THE AIR AND THE PILOT TRIED TO LIFT OFF BUT AIRCRAFT SETTLE BACK WITH THE TAIL WHEEL TURNED. AIRCRAFT RAN OFF THE STRIP AND HIT A FENCE POST, AND GROUND LOOPED. THE AIRCAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN14CA366](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN14CA366), Jul 11, 2014: Air Tractor AT 502B (N636LA), Cavalier, ND, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's loss of control during the takeoff roll.
