## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT REPORTED, UPON LANDING HE HEARD A GRINDING SOUND FROM THE MAIN LANDING GEAR AND THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO PULL HARD TO THE RIGHT, WHICH TIPPED THE AIRCRAFT TO ITS LEFT CAUSING THE LEFT HAND WING TIP AND LEFT OUTER WHEEL ASSEMBLY TO CONTACT THE RUNWAY. THE CONTACT FORCED THE AIRCRAFT BACK LEVEL AND DEPARTED THE RUNWAY. WHILE EXITING THE RUNWAY INTO THE GRASS, THE TAIL WHEEL ASSEMBLY BROKE OFF THE AIRCRAFT AS WELL. THE PILOT REPORTED FINDING WHAT APPEARED TO BE GROUND UP ROCKS EMBEDDED IN THE RIGHT HAND BRAKE ASSEMBLY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
