## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE HOUSTON FSDO RECEIVED A REPORT OF AN AIRCRAFT LANDING AT VICTORIA REGIONAL (VCT) AIRPORT ON RNWY 13R WITH THE NOSE LANDING GEAR UP. THE AIRCRAFT AND IT'S SOLE OCCUPANT, THE PIC, WERE ENROUTE TO CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL (CRP), WHEN, DURING FINAL APPROACH, THE GEAR WAS SELECTED DOWN AND ONLY THE MAIN GEAR EXTENDED. THE FLIGHT APPROACH WAS TERMINATED, AND THE PIC RETURNED TO THE POINT OF ORIGIN. MULTIPLE ATTEMPS TO EXTEND THE NOSE GEAR VIA EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AND FLIGHT MANUVERS, PRODUCED NO CHANGE TO THE AIRCRAFT CONDITION. THE AIRCRAFT, AFTER EXHAUSTING THE MAJORITY OF THE FUEL STATE, LANDED WITHOUT INJURY TO THE PIC.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
