## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ACCORDING TO THE PILOT, THE NUMBER 2 ENGINE WAS INDICATING THAT IT WAS LOSING OIL PRESSURE DURING CRUISE FLIGHT. THE PILOT ELECTED TO SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE AND DIVERTED TO THE TALKEETNA, AK AIRPORT. THE AIRPLANE WAS LANDED WITH ONE ENGINE INOPERATIVE. THE PILOT TAXIED THE AIRCRAFT INTO THE RUNWAY OVER-RUN AREA. HE STATED IF HE HAD STOPPED THE AIRPLANE ON THE RUNWAY HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO TURN THE AIRPLANE AROUND ON ONE ENGINE BECAUSE OF ITS SIZE. INITIAL REPORTS ALLUDED TO THE AIRPLANE RAN OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
