## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 20, 2014 AT APPROXIMATELY 09:05 CDT, N6151F, A CESSNA 210H, PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, IMPACTED THE RUNWAY AT ODESSA-SCHLEMEYER FIELD (ODO) LOCATED IN ODESSA, TEXAS. DURING TAKEOFF THE PILOT REALIZED THE AIRCRAFT MAIN LANDING GEAR DOORS WERE NOT FULLY RETRACTED AND TRIED TO NORMALLY RECYCLE THE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM. THE PILOT DECIDED TO RETURN TO THE AIRPORT WITH THE UNKNOWN LANDING GEAR CONDITION. THE PILOT DID NOT PERFORM AN EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 16, THEN THE AIRCRAFT SLID APPROXIMATELY 120 FEET AND CAME TO REST WITH THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR DOOR, ENGINE, PROPELLER AND LOWER FUSELAGE SKIN. THE PILOT WAS UNINJURED AND WAS ABLE TO EXTRACT HIMSELF FROM THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
