## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

A CESSNA 150 ON A TRAINING FLIGHT CONDUCTED UNDER PART 61 WAS MANEUVERING BETWEEN 1,700 AND 2,000 FEET ABOVE GROUND LEVEL PERFORMING SLOW FLIGHT FOLLOWED BY A POWER-OFF STALL. THE STUDENT AND INSTRUCTOR BOTH STATED THAT CARB HEAT WAS APPLIED PRIOR TO BEGINING THE MANUEVER. UPON COMPLETING THE MANEUVER AND DURING THE RECOVERY, BOTH THE STUDENT, THEN THE INSTRUCTOR, WERE UNABLE TO MAKE THE ENGINE GENERATE POWER FOR SUSTAINED FLIGHT. THE PILOT MADE AN UNSCHEDULED LANDING IN A GRASS FIELD JUST WEST OF PLANTERSVILLE TEXAS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
