## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PIC^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ HAD AIRCRAFT CERTIFICATED IN MAY 2014. AFTER CLEARANCE FOR SEVERAL HIGH SPEED TAXIS, PIC REQUESTED/GRANTED CLEARANCE FOR TAKEOFF. AFTER SEVERAL PASSES, PIC GRANTED PERMISSION TO LAND. PIC STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY AND LANDING STRAIGHT CENTERLINE WITH NICE FLARE UNTIL THE NOSE TIRE MADE CONTACT W/ RUNWAY SURFACE. AT WHICH TIME THE GEAR COLLAPSED AFT, BENDING UNDER FUESLAGE PROTECTING A/C BELLY. NOSE GEAR COLLAPSE CAUSED PROPELLOR STRIKE AND SUDDEN ENGINE STOPPAGE. HEAT FROM EXHAUST STACKS CAUSED BURN MARKS UPON ENGINE COWLING. NO INJURIES

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
