## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT ABOUT 1:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY 8/13/2014, PILOT ADVISED GROUND CONTROL THAT HE WAS INTENDED TO CARRY OUT A HIGH SPEED TAXI WITH A POSSIBLE LIFT OFF AND IMMEDIATE LANDING. THE PILOT TAXIED TO RUN WAY 18L AND SPEEDED UP TO ABOUT 80 KNOTS AND ROTATED. THE AIRCRAFT LIFTED APPROXIMATELY 1 TO 2 FEET OFF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT IMMEDIATELY SHUT OFF POWER AND LANDED BACK ON THE RUNWAY, AT WHICH POINT THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AND AIRCRAFT SKIDDED TO A HALT ONTO THE GRASS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
