## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT MADE A NORMAL 3 POINT LANDING ON RWY 31 TURF. WIND REPORTED AS 290 @6-10 KNOTS. ON ROLLOUT WHILE SLOWING THROUGH APPROXIMATELY 30 KNOTS PILOT REPORTED AIRCRAFT LIFTED INTO AIR AFTER ROLLING OVER HUMP/HOLE IN RUNWAY. HUMP CREATED SUFFICEINT AOA TO SEND AIRCRAFT AIRBORNE, AIRCRAFT WAS TOO SLOW TO HAVE SUFFICEINT AIR FLOW FOR RUDDER AND ELEVATOR AUTHORITY. UPON RETURNING TO THE GROUND ON THE HOLE SIDE OF THE HUMP THE AIRCRAFT PITCHED FORWARD AND NOSED OVER. MINOR DAMAGE TO CANOPY,PROP, ENGINE COWL, RIGHT WINGTIP, AND TOP OF RUDDER. ADDITIONAL DAMAGE TO RIGHT WINGTIP AND COWLING DUE TO UPRIGHTING OF AIRCRAFT BY RECOVERY CREW.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA14CA394](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA14CA394), Aug 16, 2014: North American SNJ-6 (N211A), Readington, NJ, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain aircraft control during landing which resulted in an aircraft nose-over.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
