## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ OF AIRCRAFT WAS RECEIVING FLIGHT INSTRUCTION. STUDENT PILOT CERTIFICATE WAS EXPIRED AND CFI WAS THE PIC. INITIATED TOUCH & GOS ON RUNWAY 19 AT RIGBY, ID AIRPORT (U56). AFTER TAKEOFF, CFI STATED THAT ABOUT 25 FEET IN THE AIR A STRONG GUST OF WIND DEVIATED THE AIRCRAFT FROM THE RUNWAY AND BEFORE THEY COULD CORRECT IT THEY HIT A HANGAR ABOUT 300 FEET TO THE WEST OF THE RUNWAY AND CAME TO REST BEHIND THE HANGAR ROW AND AGAINST AN AIRPORT SECURITY FENCE.
