DURING AERIAL APPLICATION, THE ENGINE SURGED AND PROPELLER WENT INTO BETA INTERMITTENTLY, THE PILOT EXECUTED A FORCED LANDING INTO A SOYBEAN FIELD AND ROLLED OUT INTO A CORN FIELD. THE PILOT REPORTED ONLY MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
