## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT MADE A FORCED LANDING IN A BEAN FIELD AFTER THE ENGINE LOST POWER NEAR THE MARSHALLTOWN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER AFTER LANDING IN THE FIELD AND SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE.

ON THE DAY AFTER THE ACCIDENT,THE WINGS WERE ROCKED BACK AND FORTH AND NO SLOSHING OF FUEL COULD BE HEARD. BOTH WING FUEL CAPS WERE REMOVED AND NO FUEL LEAKED OUT.

ON 09/18/2014, THE AIRCRAFT WAS RECOVERED FROM THE FARM FIELD.THE INVESTIGATION REVEALED NO MECHANICAL ANOMALIES, NO EVIDENCE OF FUEL IN THE FUEL TANKS, AND NO FUEL THAT HAD LEAKED FROM THE AIRCRAFT.FUEL WAS ADDED TO THE RIGHT FUEL TANK AND THE ENGINE WAS STARTED. IT RAN NORMAL FOR 30 TO 45 SECONDS BEFORE BEING SHUT DOWN.
