## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ACCORDING TO THE PILOTS, ON A FLIGHT FROM CLE TO STP, AT APPROXIMATELY 20 TO 25 MILES OUT FROM STP THE LOW OIL PRESSURE LIGHT FOR THE RIGHT ENGINE ILLUMINATED. THEY PROCEEDED TO DO A PRECAUTIONARY SHUTDOWN OF THE RIGHT ENGINE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN CHECKLIST. AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO STP WITH THE RIGHT ENGINE SHUT DOWN AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. AFTER LANDING IT WAS NOTED THAT THERE WAS NO OIL VISIBLE ON THE RIGHT ENGINE OIL SIGHT GAUGE. THERE WAS NO VISIBLE OIL ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOTS STATED THAT THE OIL LEVEL ON THE PREFLIGHT WAS AT THE MIDDLE OF THE FULL MARKS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
