## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT WAS ON HIS FIRST SOLO CROSS COUNTRY AND LANDED AT LAKE HAVASU. AFTER LANDING HE STATED THAT HE "PRESSED ON THE BRAKES AND THE AIRCRAFT GOT DERAILED AND MOVED TO THE DIRT AND ROCKS AREA TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY." DURING ROLL-OUT THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY INTO A MUDDY AREA TO THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY WHERE THE NOSE GEAR DROPPED INTO A DITCH.

PILOT SUSTAINED NO INJURIES DURING THE LANDING.

AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED FROM MUDDY AREA AND INSPECTED BY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL OF THE FLIGHT SCHOOL.

INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT DETERMINED THE NOSE GEAR WAS SHOVED AFT WHICH CAUSED THE FIREWALL AND FORWARD BELLY SKIN TO BE WRINKLED. THE PROP WAS DAMAGED AT BOTH TIPS.

MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL REMOVED THE PROP FOR REPAIR AND PERFORMED PROP STRIKE AD.

AIRCRAFT WILL BE FERRIED FOR FURTHER REPAIRS.
