## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 11/14/2014, AT 13:27 CST, A CESSNA, 172G AIRCRAFT BEARING REGISTRATION NUMBER (N-3866L), REGISTERED TO WEST VALLEY FLYERS, LLC., DECLARED MAYDAY NW OF KPEQ WITH ENGINE FAILURE. KZAB WORKED THE AIRCRAFT INTO KPEQ, WHERE THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT OR INJURY. THE PILOT STATED THE ENGINE QUIT IN FLIGHT; 6500 FT.; HE PERFORMED THE EMERGENCY CHECK-LIST AND GOT THE ENGINE RUNNING AGAIN. THE PILOT SAID AFTER EXTENSIVE TESTING THAT CARBURETOR ICING CAUSED THE ENGINE FAILURE. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM KZAB TO KPEQ.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
