## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT HAD MOMENTARILY BECOME AIRBORNE WHEN THE TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED AND THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY TO THE LEFT RESULTING IN A GROUND LOOP AND SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO AIRFRAME.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR15CA041](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR15CA041), Nov 14, 2014: Champion 7ECA (N2563F), San Diego, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control of the airplane during takeoff roll.

## Other reports on N2563F (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Accident 19830608023529A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19830608023529A), Jun 8, 1983: Bbavia 7ECA (N2563F), Wentworth, WI, Substantial damage. Stalled on level off from a practice emergency landing maneuver. Blamed a gust of wind. Too low for safety.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
