## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT DEPARTED PALM SPRINGS USING RUNWAY 31L. AT POINT OF INITIAL LIFT-OFF FROM TAKE-OFF ROLL, PILOT REPORTED A SEVERE RIGHT YAW AND RIGHT ROLL. PILOT INPUTED LEFT RUDDER IN A EFFORT TO COUNTER THE RIGHT MOVEMENT AND REALIZED THAT LEFT RUDDER WAS INEFFECTIVE. PILOT THEN USED LEFT AILERON TO COUNTER THE RIGHT YAW/ROLL AND THEN RETURNED TO PSP RWY 31L FOR LANDING. WHILE IN A "UNCOORDINATED" CONDITION THE AIRCRAFT'S LEFT WING STRUCK THE GROUND CASUSING MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
