## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS DOING PATTERN WORK AND "TOUCH & GO'S". WHEN HE LOWERED THE LANDING GEAR FOR THE FIRST LANDING, ALL THREE OF THE GEAR INDICATOR BULBS FLASHED AND THEN REMAINED EXTINGUISHED. HE THEN FLEW AT ALTITUDE PAST THE TOWER FOR VISUAL CONFIRMATION. TOWER CONFIRMED THAT ALL THREE LANDING GEAR WERE STILL STOWED. HE THEN FLEW TO THE SOUTHWEST TO PERFORM MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION CHECKLIST. AFTER THIS WAS COMPLETED, HE THEN FLEW LOW APPROACH PAST TOWER TO GET VISUAL CONFIRMATION. TOWER CONFIRMED GEAR WAS DOWN. AT THIS POINT HE FLEW BACK TO THE SOUTHWEST TO CONFIRM CHECKLIST ITEMS WERE COMPLETED.

THE APPROACH TO 34L WAS THEN FLOWN WITH A NORMAL LANDING ON THE CENTERLINE. THE NOSEGEAR COLLAPSED WHILE TRAVELING ABOUT 50 KTS APPROXIMATELY 1000' FROM THE APPROACH END OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
