## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT STATED THAT HE TAXIED THE RANS S-14 AIRCRAFT DOWN THE RUNWAY SEVERAL TIMES TO GET THE FEEL OF THE AIRCRAFT. ON THE LAST RUN HE TOOK OFF AND FLEW AROUND THE PATTERN AND WAS TO HIGH TO LAND SO HE ELECTED TO GO AROUND. ON THE SECOND ATTEMPT TO LAND HE STATED HIS APPROACH LOOKED GOOD SO HE REDUCED POWER AND THE AIRCRAFT JUST FELL OUT OF THE AIR AND IMPACTED THE GROUND.

THE RANS S-14 AIRCRAFT WAS OBSERVED BY THE AIRPORT MANAGER, MR. DALE LINSTROM NOTICED THE AIRCRAFT WAS OSCILLATING UP AND DOWN IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN. THEN, WHEN IT WAS ON FINAL APPROACH TO RUNWAY 19 AT KEWANEE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT(KEZI) AT APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET ABOVE GROUND LEVEL (AGL)THE AIRCRAFT APPEARED TO STALL AND IMPACTED THE GROUND APPROXIMATELY 200 YARDS FROM THE END OF RUNWAY 19 AT KEZI AIRPORT.

## NTSB investigation

None matched to this report by aircraft and date. Search the NTSB's own records: https://data.ntsb.gov/carol-main-public/basic-search

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
