## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PIC WAS GIVING FLIGHT INSTRUCTION TO AIRCRAFT OWNER TOWARDS A TAILWHEEL ENDORSEMENT. WHILE CONDUCTING TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS AT MINNEAPOLIS AIRLAKE AIRPORT (LVN), ON THE THIRD CIRCUIT OF LANDINGS, THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO OSCILLATE RIGHT TO LEFT AFTER TOUCHING DOWN ON THE MAIN GEAR ON THE RUNWAY. THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR STATED THAT AS THE AIRCRAFT WENT TO THE RIGHT, HE APPLIED HARD LEFT RUDDER AND STARTED TO TELL THE AIRCRAFT OWNER TO NOT APPLY BRAKES. BEFORE HE COULD DO SO, THE AIRCRAFT OWNER APPLIED BRAKE PRESSURE AND THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER SLOWLY AND ENDED UP INVERTED ABOUT 1/3 OF THE WAY DOWN THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
