## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT HAD UNEVENTFUL START-UP, TAXI AND TAKE OFF. LEVELED OFF AT 2000 MSL REDUCED TO CRUISE POWER. ABOUT 10 MINUTES IN FLIGHT PILOT HEARD AUDIBLE WARNING FROM HIS DYNON DEK-180 EFIS "LOW OIL PRESSURE." IN THE TIME IT TOOK THE PILOT TO VISUALLY CONFIRM THE OIL PRESSURE DROP TO ZERO. AS THE PILOT STARTED LOOKING FOR AN OFF FIELD LANDING AREA THE ENGINE STOPPED. WITH RIVER AND MARSH PREDOMINANCE, A WIDE PORTION OF US 17 IN NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA WAS AVAILABLE WITH LIMITED TRAFFIC. UNEVENTFUL LANDING, TAXIED OFF HWY INTO GAS STATION PARKING LOT. NO INJURIES AND NO AIRCRAFT DAMAGE WHICH MAKES THIS EVENT AN "OCCURRENCE" NOT AN INCIDENT. FAA INSPECTOR SAW AIRCRAFT AT HOME AIRFIELD AS OWNER REMOVED WINGS AND MOVED AIRCRAFT BACK TO HOME HANGER WITHIN HOURS AFTER LANDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
