## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 14, 2014, THE PIC DEPARTED VFR FROM SARASOTA (KSRQ) FOR A PLEASURE FLIGHT WITH (1) PASSENGER, HEADING TO ST. AUGUSTINE (KSGJ). AT APPROXIMATELY 1145 EST, DURING THE INITIAL ATTEMPT TO LAND, THE PLANE PORPOISED AND THE PIC ABORTED THE LANDING AND PERFORMED A GO-AROUND. UPON INSPECTION AFTER LANDING SAFELY, THE PIC NOTED BOTH THE PROPELLER AND TAIL HAD SUSTAINED DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
