A/C STRUCK BY LIGHTNING, 30 MILES SOUTH OF AIRPORT. THE ELT ON AIRCRAFT WAS AFFECTED BY THE LIGHTNING STRIKE, AND CRASH AND RESCUE WERE NOTIFIED. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.

THE LEFT HORIZONTAL STAB END CAP AND WINDSHIELD RETAINER WERE DAMAGED.
