## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N6063F WAS ON LANDING ROLLOUT ON RUNWAY 20 AT KJWN. AT APPROXIMATELY 400 FEET AFTER TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY TO THE LEFT. THE AIRCRAFT PROCEEDED THROUGH THE GRASS SURFACE TOWARD TAXIWAY A3. UPON CONTACT WITH TAXIWAY A3, THE NOSE WHEEL SEPARATED FROM THE SHOCK STRUT. THE AIRCRAFT CROSSED TAXIWAY A3 WITH THE NOSE STRUT CONTACTING THE ASPHALT. WHEN THE NOSE STRUT MADE CONTACT WITH THE SOFTER SURFACE AT THE EDGE OF THE TAXIWAY, THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED TAIL OVER NOSE AND CAME TO REST INVERTED. POST ACCIDENT EXAMINATION OF THE AIRCRAFT BRAKES REVEALED NO ABNORMALITIES.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA15CA083](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA15CA083), Dec 26, 2014: Cessna 182P (N6063F), Nashville, TN, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's inadequate control of the airplane during the landing roll, which resulted in a runway excursion.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
