## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 31, 2014, AT APPROXIMATELY 1620 CDT A CESSNA 210K HAD INCIDENT INVOLVING THE FAILURE OF THE AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED AT THE END OF THE SECOND LEG OF A FLIGHT. UPON PREPARATION FOR LANDING AT FAR, THE GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES ALSO FAILED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR. THE FLIGHT WAS EXTENDED FOR APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES TO BURN OFF FUEL AND TO TROUBLESHOOT THE LANDING GEAR WITH NO SUCCESS. UPON LANDING, THE NOSE GEAR WAS DOWN AND REMAINED EXTENDED. HOWEVER, THE MAIN GEAR, WHICH WAS PARTIALLY EXTENDED, DID NOT SUPPORT THE AIRCRAFT.

MAINTENANCE REPORTED THE FAILURE OF THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR DOOR ACTUATOR WHICH PURGED HYDRAULIC FLUID FROM THE SYSTEM.

THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
