## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED AFTER THE AIRCRAFT LANDED ON RUNWAY 21. ACCORDING TO THE PILOT'S STATEMENT, THE NOSE LANDING GEAR WAS INDICATING DOWN DURING THE APPROACH TO LANDING. THE SAME INDICATION WAS NOTED DURING THE ONSITE INVESTIGATION. IN ADDITION, THE LEFT NOSE GEAR DOOR FORWARD ATTACH POINT WAS BROKEN AND THE DOOR BENT AFT INDICATIVE OF THE DOOR BEING OPEN WHEN THE AIRPLANE TOUCHED DOWN. THE MAIN LANDING GEAR REMAINED DOWN AND LOCKED AT TOUCH DOWN AND DURING THE SKID TO A STOP AFTER THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
