## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 01/24/2015, THE SOLO STUDENT PILOT WAS CONDUCTING A CROSS COUNTRY FLIGHT FROM DVT TO E63 TO E25. THE STUDENT WAS HAVING A HARD TIME MAKING THE LANDING AT E25 FOR VARIOUS REASONS. FIRST ATTEMPT HE TRIED TO ENTER THE DOWNWIND AND WAS IN CONFLICT WITH ANOTHER AIRCRAFT. SECOND ATTEMPT, HE WAS TOO HIGH. AFTER THE SECOND ABORTED ATTEMPT TO LAND AT E25 THE STUDENT DECIDED TO RETURN TO DVT, BUT WAS INSTRUCTED BY HIS SUPERVISING INSTRUCTOR TO MAKE THE LANDING AT E25. HE REENTERED THE PATTERN AND TOUCHED DOWN ON THE MAINS AND THEN STATED THAT HE HIT THE BRAKES HARD TO MAKE THE TAXIWAY AND HEARD A METALLIC SOUND. WHEN HE PARKED TO GET FUEL, HE NOTICED THAT BOTH TIPS OF THE PROPELLER WERE BENT BACKWARDS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
