## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

02/24/2015 HORIZON FLIGHT 2199 REPORTED HYDRAULIC SYSTEM WARNINGS IN CRUISE AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FAILURE ON FINAL APPROACH. UPON FINAL APPROACH THE CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND PERFORMED A ZERO FLAP LANDING IAW EMERGENCY PROCEDURES. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AND CAME TO A STOP ON THE RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT WAS THEN TOWED TO THE GATE. NO INJURIES REPORTED.

NTSB AND FAA WERE CONTACTED. BOTH DETERMINED THIS EVENT MET THE CRITERIA FOR AN "INCIDENT". NTSB ISSUED AN INCIDENT NUMBER.

AIRCRAFT WAS INSPECTED BY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL AND FOUND A FAILED HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BALANCE RELIEF VALVE. PART WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED, SYSTEM BLED AND FUNCTIONAL TESTED FOR A FERRY FLIGHT BACK TO PDX WHERE FINAL TESTING COULD BE COMPLETED AND AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
