## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENTS WERE PERFORMING TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS. ON THIS LANDING, AT APPROXIMATELY 08:47 MST, THE SUBJECTS TOUCHED DOWN AND ON THE POWERUP TO TAKE OFF, THE FLYING PILOT REACHED TO BRING THE FLAPS UP, BUT PUT THE GEAR LEVER IN THE UP POSITION INSTEAD. THE GEAR BEGAN TO RETRACT, BUT THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH AIR SPEED TO KEEP THE AIRCRAFT FLYING AND IT SETTLED ON THE THE LEFT WING AND GROUND LOOPED. THERE WAS SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE LEFT HORIZONTAL STAB , THE AFT STAB BULKHEAD AND LEFT WING SKIN.
