## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2015, A PA-12, N7748H, PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, LANDED ON A SNOW COVERED FIELD NEXT TO 3791 ROUTES 5 AND 20 IN CANANDAIGUA, NY (TOWN OF HOPEWELL). WHILE ROLLING OUT, THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO REMAIN ON THE HARDER PACKED SNOWMOBILE TRACK, HOWEVER, MOMENTARILY LOST CONTROL AND VEERED TO THE RIGHT INTO WET, LOOSE SNOW. THIS CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO FLIP OVER ONTO THE LEFT WING FIRST, AND FINALLY CAME TO REST ON ITS BACK.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
