## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT DEPARTED RUNWAY 32 AT GRAND GLAIZE AIRPORT. UPON REACHING 2,800 FEET MSL, THE PILOT REPORTED A LOSS OF ENGINE POWER. THE AIRCRAFT WAS OVER THE LAKE OF THE OZARKS, UNABLE TO GLIDE TO SHORE, AND DITCHED IN THE LAKE.

UPON INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT IN A HANGAR, IT WAS NOTED THAT THE ENGINE'S OIL FILLER/DIPSTICK WAS NOT IN THE FILLER TUBE OR ANYWHERE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. MORE THAN FIVE GALLONS OF WATER WAS DRAINED FROM THE ENGINE WITH MINIMAL OIL (LESS THAN APPROXIMATELY THREE TABLESPOONS) FOUND. THE ENGINE WAS SEIZED, ALTHOUGH THE NUMBER ONE CYLINDER CREATED COMPRESSION AND ALL FOUR LOWER SPARK PLUGS APPEARED NORMAL.
