## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED THAT HE WAS SPRAYING A FIELD NEXT TO A TWO LANE ROAD WITH AN ADJACENT POWER LINE. DURING THE SPRAY RUN, THE ROAD CURVED AND DUE TO THE WIND, THE AIRCRAFT WAS SKIDDING CLOSER TO THE POWER LINE THAN HE WAS COMFORTABLE WITH. THE PILOT INITIATED A PULL UP AND ROLLED RIGHT, STRIKING A POWER POLE THAT WAS APPROXIMATELY 6 FEET TALLER THAN THE OTHER POLES ON THE LINE. THE COLLISION REMOVED THE OUTER 3 FEET OF NON-STRUCTURAL WING TIP AREA. AIRCRAFT ROLLED RIGHT. PILOT RECOVERED AIRCRAFT TO HOME BASE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
